Only two chapters left to this series. I really wish it’d gone on longer, but it’s fairly obvious by this point that the author really wasn’t quite sure where she was going with the setting and all that. Still, these last few chapters are pretty great by themselves if you just ignore all the foreshadowing and characters that are never mentioned again and just think of it as a guy-goes-to-rescue-the-girl series.
As said before, I’m going to try and finish this up, then go full speed ahead on Gamma. I just finished reading the fourth volume of that in my SQ issues (then got the next one in the mail, which I haven’t read yet), and it is getting quite excellent.
